Important Notice: As a developing business, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes, completion times, or professional certifications. All work is carried out to the best of our current ability and experience level.

3. Service Area

Our primary service area is Wombwell and the surrounding Barnsley area, focusing on the S73 postcode region. We may consider work outside this area at our discretion and subject to additional travel charges.

4. Booking and Quotes

Quote Process

  • All initial quotes are provided free of charge with no obligation
  • Quotes are estimates based on information provided and may change after site inspection
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
  • We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion

Booking Confirmation

  • Bookings are confirmed only upon written acceptance of our quote
  • A deposit may be required for larger projects
  • We will provide reasonable notice of any scheduling changes
5. Pricing and Payment

Pricing

  • All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable
  • Prices may vary based on project complexity, materials required, and site conditions
  • Additional costs for materials will be discussed and agreed upon before purchase

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed
  • We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments
  • Late payment may incur additional charges
  • Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced
6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about the work required
  • Ensuring safe access to the work area
  • Removing or protecting valuable items in the work area
  • Providing necessary utilities (electricity, water) if required
  • Obtaining any necessary permissions or permits
  • Being present or arranging access during scheduled work times
7. Our Responsibilities and Limitations

  • Clean-up of work areas upon completion

Limitations

  • We cannot guarantee specific completion times due to our developing business status
  • We may not have all professional certifications for specialized work
  • Complex electrical, gas, or structural work may require certified professionals
  • We reserve the right to stop work if safety concerns arise
8. Health and Safety
  • We will take reasonable precautions to ensure safe working practices
  • Customers must inform us of any known hazards or safety concerns
  • We reserve the right to stop work if unsafe conditions are encountered
  • Basic public liability insurance is maintained where possible
  • Customers should ensure children and pets are kept away from work areas
9. Cancellation and Changes

Customer Cancellation

  • Cancellations with 24+ hours notice: No charge
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice: May incur a call-out fee
  • Cancellations after work has started: Payment for work completed

Our Cancellation Rights

  • We may cancel if weather or safety conditions are unsuitable
  • We may cancel if customer requirements change significantly
  • We will provide reasonable notice where possible
10. Liability and Insurance

Important Limitation: As a developing business, our liability is limited. We cannot guarantee outcomes or provide extensive warranties.

  • We will rectify any work that fails to meet reasonable standards
  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the work performed
  • We are not liable for consequential or indirect damages
  • Customers are advised to maintain their own insurance coverage
  • Any damage to existing property will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
11. Intellectual Property
  • All website content, logos, and materials are owned by Levis Handywork & Co Ltd
  • Customers may not reproduce our materials without permission
  • We may use photos of completed work for marketing purposes (with permission)
12. Privacy and Data Protection

13. Dispute Resolution
